Viacom, which owns MTV Networks and Paramount Pictures, sued Google in federal court on accusing the Internet company of "brazenly exploiting" the power of the Web to make easy money off Hollywood's hard work.
In February Viacom broke off licensing deal talks with YouTube and ordered that all its content to be pulled. Then hardly leaving time for the dust to settle they signed a broad licensing deal with Joost.
